PPS celebrated the 153rd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with great fervour. Boys and girls assembled in the Pavate Hall at 9.00 am. Tripatjot Kaur, Garima Tayal and Harkirat Kaur expressed their thoughts on the relevance of the day in English, Hindi and Punjabi respectively. by the school choir gave a new feel to the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster Dr DC Sharma dwelt at length on the Gandhian values of truth and non-violence. He urged everyone to embrace the principles of one of the greatest sons of India and read his writings to understand the man. The assembly concluded with national anthem. Deputy Headmaster Dr Gurvinder Kaur and Head Junior Wing Mrs Ruby Verma were also present.
