The Old Nabhaites Association President Brig Bedi, Vice President Mr Rajinder Jain, Treasurer Mr Vikas, Secretary Ms Gagan Thind , Chief Spokseperson Ms Neelinderjit Sandhu Former President and ONA Veteran Dr Jashanjot Singh and other Office bearers came to School to welcome all students of passing out Class 12 to The Alumni Association. It was a way to handhold them and embrace them after passing from the portals of this great school to the ONA body. They presented every student with a welcome kit. It was followed by High Tea at The Headmasters Green...! What a way to set great example by the seniors and adopt young eagles under their wings...! Onward and Upward..!
    Hon’ble Justice Rajan Gupta, Judge Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh presided over the Passing Out Ceremony of ISC-2020 this evening. On his arrival, the Chief Guest was introduced to the Deans and Coordinators. Leading the customary academic procession, Mr Gupta was followed by students and staff. He presented mementoes to the outgoing Batch while their citations were read out. On behalf of ISC -2020, Head Girl expressed heartfelt thanks to the school for raising them. In his address to the gathering, Chief Guest went down the memory lane and credited PPS for making him successful. He urged the parents to let their children pursue their dreams. He concluded his address with famous lines by Robert Frost “I have miles to go before I sleep”. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster presented a token of heartfelt gratitude to Dr HC Gupta,(father of Justice Rajan Gupta), Mrs and Hon’ble Justice Mr Rajan Gupta (Ex PPS , B-267 , 1976 Batch). Dr Singh thanked the Chief Guest for sparing time out of his busy schedule to grace the occasion. Many other officials and dignitaries graced the evening with their benign presence. The evening concluded with National Anthem.
      Mr Suman Kant Munjal, Managing Director , Rockman Industries Ltd presided over the 71st Republic Day Celebrations held at The Punjab Public School, Nabha. On his arrival, he hoisted the tricolour. He inspected Guard of Honour. Students enlightened the audience with  journey of India since 1949. Patriotic songs and dances lent a patriotic fervour to the ambience. In his address to the gathering, Mr Munjal went down te memory lane and shared powerful nuggets of wisdom. Mr Munjal called upon the students to be flexible and open in their attitude towards life and keep their country first. 
      Headmaster, Dr Jagpreet Singh presented a token of deeply felt love and gratitude to Mr and Mrs Munjal, Mr and Mrs Navin Talwar. Dr Singh proposed vote of thanks. He thanked the Chief Guest for gracing occasion and wished everyone a Very Happy Republic Day. The celebrations concluded with National Anthem.
        In a bid to promote reading and inculcate strong reading habits, Scholastic organised One Nation Reading Together Event today. Students took a pledge which was followed by extensive reading of 20 mins. Staff and students didn’t leave the opportunity to grab their favourite books and masterpieces. Post reading, students scribbled their favourite quotations, their views on reading, highlighted their favourite writer names on the Graffiti Wall.

          Braving the chilly winds, PPS Staff XI won the Festival Cricket Match by 96 runs played today in the Main Fields this afternoon. Staff set a target of 139 runs after losing 5 wickets in 16 overs. Young brigade of students found the target humongous and fell off early at 43 runs to finish the innings in 12.2 overs.

            Keeping the spirit of 60 years alive, PPS witnessed its first ON Girls Fun Drive and Treasure Hunt. HE Sh V P Singh Badnore, Governor of Punjab and Adminstartor UT, flagged off the rally from Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh this morning. Many Board Members alongwith eminent Old Nabhaites were  present at this occassion . Over 80 cars with bubbling participants set the tone for the day. The cars made their way through heritage sites, canals and village tracks. Plenty of games kept them entertained en route. The fun Drive culminated at PPS Nabha in the evening where  participants were welcomed by the Headmaster. An excellent interaction was held between Old and present students. The evening concluded over cup of tea followed by Prize Giving. The biggest attraction was Ms Bani Yadav , the national champion of motor sport..!
              Junior School witnessed the Oath Taking Ceremony for School Appointments this morning. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster administered the Oath and handed over the badges to the school appointments. Tanush Bansal and Anahat we’re appointed the Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. In his speech to the assembly, Dr Singh called upon the students to don the role of leaders and imbibe the right qualities  to play the role of a responsible change maker.
