The final day began with the second keynote address by Shikha Shah, a young entrepreneur who established her venture Scrapshala which upcycles the products from going to the landfills and converts them to usable products. Her motivational talk of how one can contribute with a small things and make a bigger difference to the society. It was followed by the Workshop ‘Best Out of Waste’ where delegates made magnets out of old wedding cards, tote bags out of their old t-shirts and planters out of the waste bottles.
It was followed by Baraza where the delegates had to sum up all what they had learnt in the form of role play.
Evening witnessed the closing ceremony with Mrs Rana Virk presiding over as the Chief Guest who is actively involved in the noble causes. Specially invited were Children from Autistic Society, Sangrur who gave a dance performance.
The delegates summed up their experience of three day Round Square Conference. Chief Guest gave away the certificates and mementos to various participating teams. In her address to the gathering, Mrs Virk said that conferences like these were the unique opportunities which help one in learning about varied cultures across the world. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster presented a token of deeply felt love and gratitude to the chief guest. In his speech, he thanked all the delegates for spending time in the nest of PPS till they meet again.
