Oath Taking Ceremony

Junior School Appointments take charge

The Oath Taking Ceremony of the Junior School Appointments for the Academic Session 2021-2022 was held on February 23, 2022. In a special assembly convened for the purpose, the school appointments were administered the oath of office by Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh. It was a moment of pride for the appointees as their citations were read out highlighting their achievements over the years. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Singh dwelt at length on the responsibilities that the appointments are supposed to carry out. He appealed to them to not miss any opportunity to imbibe effective decision-making and lead from the front. The proceedings concluded with the singing of the national anthem. Ms Ruby Verma, Head, Junior Wing was present on the occasion.

    The Passing Out Ceremony of ISC Batch-2022 was organised at The Punjab Public School, Nabha on Friday. In a function presided over by Lt Gen TK Sapru, PVSM, YSM (Retd) and Member of the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the school, the citations were read out highlighting the achievements of the students over the years. They were given mementos by the Chief Guest. Earlier, the academic procession had moved from Tennis Courts to the auditorium with complete fanfare. Speaking on the occasion, Lt Gen Sapru called upon the student community to cherish their dreams but never to lose sight of human values. Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh gave Lt Gen Sapru a token of deeply felt love and gratitude. Proposing the vote of thanks, Mr Singh thanked the parents for reposing trust in the institutional framework and being supportive of the school during the critical phase of corona pandemic. It was followed by dinner for the ISC Batch, parents and staff at the Headmaster’s Green.

      Headmaster gives Games & Sports Colours

      Pushpinder and Yuvraj hog limelight

      In a special assembly convened on February 27, boys and girls were given Colours for excelling in various games and sports during the Academic Session 2021-22. It was a sight to behold the players getting duly recognised for the hard work put in. Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh complimented the players for setting standards during the corona pandemic. He made a Special Mention of Pushpinder Singh Sarao who set a New School Record of 55.23m in Hammer Throw beating the earlier IPSC record of 51.81m. He duly acknowledged the contribution made by Yuvraj Singh Brar as well who brought laurels to the school by winning a Gold Medal in the Young Riders Show Jumping Team event in the nationals held at The Amateur Riders Club, The Mahalaxmi Race Course, Mumbai in December 2021.

        Round Square Five Year Reflections

        Schools Support Director appreciates PPS

        Ms Rajbir Sandhu, Schools Support Director for South Asia & Gulf, visited The Punjab Public School, Nabha on March 7, 2022 for 5-yr reflections of the Round Square in the school. She interacted with Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh and RS Rep Ms Tanuja Singh. She had an online audience with the Board Member Mr Pramod Sharma. Later she addressed students and teachers as well. She deliberated on how the Round Square has impacted the school over the years and how it may further help in the overall development of learners. The Round Square IDEALS and Discovery Framework formed the crux of her discussion. Ms Sandhu shared vital inputs on various activities like community service, fund raising, creating awareness of the Round Square, exchange programs, in-house Round Square Conference and many more. She was highly appreciative of the work done by the students and staff of the school.
