In an era of science and technology, critical thinking is the key to leapfrog to the next level of evolution. After decades of deliberation, the New Education Policy was formulated. The thrust of the policy is primarily to do away with rote learning and develop the spirit of experimentation and enquiry. In keeping with the provisions of the policy, Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh commissioned Steam Lab on June 28, 2022 at The Punjab Public School. It will provide the students a platform for hands-on learning and help develop critical temper. They will understand real-life applications of complex concepts in art, mathematics and sciences. Deputy Headmaster Dr Gurvinder Kaur, Bursar Dr Ankur Samuel Birkett and IT Administrator Mr Lovkesh Singh Vermani were present on the occasion.

In a brief ceremony on June 25, Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh inaugurated the Fountain Park at The Punjab Public School. It creates a forest scene where wild animals can be seen gathered alongside a river. This will help the students to connect with and appreciate nature driving home the lesson in mutual co-existence and sensitize them about the impending challenges on flora and fauna as well. The Fountain Park is a visual treat especially at night with lights on which gives it a magical touch. Situated next to the Map of India, it will be an added attraction for the children when they get back on the campus after the summer vacation gets over. Bursar Dr Ankur Samuel Birkett was also present for the inauguration ceremony.
