A virtual Career and University Fest was held on February 15, 2022. The experts from top domestic and foreign universities delivered talks on career options which will be in demand in near future. The students were guided on how they should choose their subject combinations in alignment with higher studies. Besides, a comprehensive talk was delivered on Liberal Arts as well. Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh called upon the student community to ruminate over the career choices before going in for a particular stream.

    We are pleased to share with everyone that Ms Ruby Verma, Senior Mathematics Teacher at The Punjab Public School has taken over as the Head of Junior Wing wef February 14, 2022. She began her journey at PPS on April 5, 2004 as Maths teacher in the Senior Wing. She was appointed Housemistress, Girls Boarding House in May 2010 in which capacity she served till March 2016. She has been heading Department of Mathematics since May 2011. She was appointed Coordinator, Girls Boarding House and Coordinator Hospitality in 2016. Besides, she has been Coordinator Council Examination since January 2017.

    We wish her the very best for her new innings.

      Responding to the notification of the Govt. of Punjab, Department of Home Affairs & Justice dated February 6, 2022 to open schools across the state considering the steady decline in coronavirus cases, The Punjab Public School welcomed students back on the campus on February 10, 2022. The normal teaching resumed on February 11 to the delight of parents and students alike. The ceremonial handing over of the school flag took place during the morning assembly. Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh formally handed over the school flag to Head Boy Gurwinder Singh who, in turn, deposited it in the safe custody of Deputy Headmaster Dr Gurvinder Kaur. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Singh called upon students of ISC and ICSE to prepare well for Semester-2 examination slated in April. He made a fervent appeal to everyone to adhere to covid-appropriate behaviour. The boys and girls seemed in an upbeat mood to see their fellow classmates after the lockdown. Teachers were equally jubilant to see students in classes.
