In an e-ceremony organised by National School Awards on 11th September 2021, The Punjab Public School was given Educational Excellence Award for commendable efforts in the upliftment of the Education System and making children Future Ready.

Besides, Mr Ajay Singh, Headmaster, PPS made it to the Category of Commendable Contribution in Changing the Education System.

Acknowledging the recognition, Mr Singh thanked the management, parents and staff for their whole-hearted cooperation during the critical times of pandemic. He called upon the current lot of students to work shoulder to shoulder with the school to face upcoming challenges.

    Mr Ajay Singh, Headmaster, The Punjab Public School was honoured with the 1st CV Raman Award for Principal on September 5, 2021 on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. The award ceremony was organised by ThinkNiti, a not-for-profit research organisation and sponsored by CuriousMinds Institute, an EdTech Company focussed on innovative learning.
    The event began with a keynote address by Mr Manish Kumar, Founder, CuriousMinds Institute. He stressed upon making education so engaging that it can compete against social media and video games in getting children’s attention.
    The award duly recognises the unprecedented leadership skills shown by school principals during the times of pandemic. The event applauded the principals as ‘CEOs of Schools’. The event was virtually organised and was attended by more than 150 principals of various schools across the country. A record-breaking number of 300+ nominations were received from 20,000 schools across India. All the winners were felicitated with a certificate and a trophy.
    The event concluded with the hosts thanking the attendees and reiterating the contribution of school principals in building a strong foundation of education in the country.

      A brief ceremony was held on August 31, 2021 to honour the students of the Junior School who scored 90 per cent and above in the Annual Examination (2020-21). Mr Ajay Singh, Headmaster, The Punjab Public School gave them Torch Badges. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Singh complimented the students for their stupendous performance and expressed the hope they will continue to set standards in time to come. Mr K Ramana and Miss Aman Nijjar, Coordinators, Junior School were present.

        A brief ceremony was held on August 25, 2021 in the Pavate Hall to honour the students of the Senior School who scored 90 per cent and above in the Annual Examination (2020-21). Mr Ajay Singh, Headmaster, The Punjab Public School gave them Torch Badges. Dr Gurvinder Kaur, Deputy Headmaster and Ms Ravinder Kaur, Dean of Academics were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Singh complimented the students for their stupendous performance and expressed the hope they will continue to set standards in time to come.
