Dr. Jagpreet Singh elected joint secretary, SGFI (SCHOOL GAMES FEDERATION OF INDIA)   ...Achievements

General Council Meeting of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) was held at Chhatrasal Stadium, Delhi from June 25-26, 2016. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Director Sports, IPSC and Mr Komal Sharma, Sports Officer, IPSC attended the meeting.
Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster, The Punjab Public School, Nabha has been elected Joint Secretary in the General Council Meeting of SGFI.

      In a cover story entitled EW Co-ed Boarding Schools Rankings 2015, Education World (EW), the magazine devoted to the human development has, in its September issue, ranked Punjab Public School, Nabha 16th in the league table. In terms of Sports Education, the School was ranked 10th. Besides, Punjab Public School, Nabha was also recognised as a notable debutant.

        Worldwide Achievers Award for best public school   ...Achievements

        The Punjab Public School, Nabha has been duly recognised as the Best Public School with Excellent Faculty in Punjab by Worldwide Achievers, Asia’s leading Research & Rating Company. In a function held at Ashoka Hotel, New Delhi on March 25, 2015 as part of Asia Education Summit, the honour was conferred on Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster, The Punjab Public School by Mr Abhinav Bindra, Indian Shooter and Olympic Champion. Lt Gen TK Sapru (Retd), President, ONA (Old Nabhaites Association) and Hon’ble Member on the  Board of Governors of the School and Dr D C Sharma, Deputy Headmaster were also present on the occasion. The guests of honour included amongst others Dr CP Thakur, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and former Cabinet Minister (Govt of India), Shri Neeraj Kansal, Commissioner of Customs and Shri Maninderjeet S Bitta, Chairman of the All India Anti-Terrorist Front.
          Made a debut at no. 9 in co-curricular activities.
