ICT CONCLAVE - Day 3
Day 3- Robo Competition and Closing Ceremony !   ...Latest Events

ICT Conclave entered the final day with morning witnessing Robo Competition. Delegates from the participating teams participated in interesting competitions such as Robo Premier League, Robo Race and Dangal- The Robo Fight to name a few. 
Nearly day long competition kept the Tech Savy youngsters busy with their robotic minds. It was followed by Closing Ceremony in the afternoon. Ms Sunaina Munshi, Senior Consultant, Infosys, Chandigarh presides as the Chief Guest. She gave away prizes to the winners and participants. In her speech to the gathering, she stressed on the need to collaborate academics and IT. She also shared the cycle of Software Development and buzzword - AWS in the industry. Head Master Dr Jagpreet Singh presented a token of deeply felt love and gratitude to her. NAAR organisers also presented a token of gratitude to the Head Master. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Head Master lauded the efforts of the organising team. He also appealed to the young minds to gear up their critical and technocrat thinking tanks to face the challenges ahead in the time to come. He apprised the gathering of the latest ‘Emotional Robot’ developed by US aimed to read human feelings. The successful Conclave came to close with National Anthem.

    Day 2- My Innovation, Cultural Evening and Head Master’s Dinner !   ...Latest Events

    Day 2 witnessed the ‘My Innovation’- a Competition which witnessed the young minds making the never heard and never seen before models using technology at its best. Judges had a tough time compiling the results. 
    It was followed by an industrial visit to Preet Tractors. 
    Cultural evening added a vibrant dimension to the conclave. Delegates gave various performances such as Salsa, Group Songs and Dances, Guitar Performance. The show ended with a thunderous Bhangra performance. It was followed by Head Master’s Dinner. Participants thanked and complimented the host school for organising the conclave.

      ICT CONCLAVE- Day 1
      Opening Ceremony, Robo Workshop and Guest Lecture !   ...Latest Events

      The opening ceremony of ICT Conclave (Version 2.0) hosted by The Public Public School, Nabha took place this morning with Maj Gen Sanjiv Varma, VSM (Retd) gracing the occasion as Chief Guest. The ceremony started with lightning of lamp. Girls from PPS Nabha performed Sarasvati Vandana. In his address to the gathering, Maj Gen Varma, VSM (Retd) dwelt at length on the revolution technology has brought in our lives. He also urged the Technophiles participating in the conclave to devise machines to meet the demands of rapidly changing world. He wished everyone all the best for the Conclave.  School Head Master Dr Jagpreet Singh, presented a token of deeply felt love and gratitude to the Chief Guest. Dr Jagpreet Singh welcomed all the 13 visiting teams and wished them a happy stay ahead. It was followed by Day Long Robo Workshops. The evening witnessed Lecture by Mr Mandeep Singh, Assistant Professor Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology Patiala. With data sharing and data leaks becoming a rampant feature,  he contemplated on the challenges and fears which lie ahead with the use of technology in every sphere of our life. His talk urged the young technophiles to think critically as to how the shortcuts or Jugaad - the flexible approach to problem solving can be used as an innovation in entrepreneurship. Dr Jagpreet Singh thanked the keynote speaker and summed up the session by sending out a strong message to use the technology but not to depend on it. 
        ICT Conclave kicked off with ICE BREAKING SESSION for the Tech Conclave (2.0) organised by The Punjab Public School, Nabha from July 16-July 18, 2018. Thirteen teams with over  90 delegates are participating in the three day event. Technophiles played games like Matching the Partner, Sing along, Sit on the knees, Finding the shoe, and Form a Story. Thoroughly enjoying the evening, young students played musical chairs. The evening concluded with delegates shaking leg on the peppy tracks.
