 The School reopened after the summer break and the traditional Festival Football Match was played between the Staff and Students...! In front of whole school , amidst huge cheering soccer was at its best .... Children showed the staff their caliber and beat them 5-1 ... !!!!

    Opening of the new term in PPS , Nabha , a workshop for the staff was organised on “ mindfulness “ to impact children in more meaningful method and to create a happy environment in school..! This will be a year program to indulge children in enriching soft skills and enhancing emotional and happy quotient among all , truly reflecting the motto of the school ‘ Onward and Upward ‘
      Day 3 witnessed Robo Competition in the post lunch session...! The young technocrats full of enthusiasm,exhibited great skills in this competition...!
        Day 2 of the ongoing ICT Conclave witnessed the young technocrats showcasing their innovations. ICT Quiz was another highlight of the day. Visiting delegates visited the GSK and Preet Tractors Group. Evening witnessed the cultural extravaganza from all parts of country. The day concluded with Headmaster’s Dinner.
          After the Opening Ceremony the Robotics workshop was organised for all the delegates. Then there was a very interesting keynote address by Dr Mandeep Singh from Thappar University , who charmed the audience by his seven mantras ....! 
          It was an interesting talk followed by the second workshop...! It was a great day sharing information ..!
            Mr Rakshit Tandon presided over the Opening Ceremony of three day ICT Conclave which kicked off this morning. In his keynote address, Mr Tandon shared the valuable information citing the dangers of uploading information on social media and how digital content can be dangerous. 
            With over 20 schools participating in the 3 day long Conclave, it is set to watch some interesting competitions. 
            Dr Jagpreet Singh welcomed the teams and thanked Mr Tandon for enlightening talk. He presented a token of fond remembrance to Mr Tandon. 
               The Punjab Public School, Nabha kicked off next edition of the ICT Conclave with an ice-breaking session followed by the Dinner...! More than 150 children from 18 schools are competing in various events . All the best to all the teams...!
                22 cadets of NCC Naval Wing and Air Wing jointly observed WORLD POPULATION DAY by organising an Awareness Cycle Rally.

                  The cadets of NCC Air Wing from The Punjab Public School , Nabha ,celebrated Swachhta Festival under the aegis of Swachh Bharat Summer Internship(SBSI) on July 10, 2019 as directed by 3 Pb Air Sqn NCC Patiala. The cadets launched a cleanliness drive in Village Nava Luvana which is adopted by the school. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster, The Punjab Public School called upon the cadets to ensure hygiene all around. The cadets took a solemn pledge for the same. 2nd Officer Shahid Ahmed , Incharge, NCC Air Wing was also present.
                    NCC Air and Naval wing cadets of The Punjab Public School , Nabha organised a seminar on air pollution and took out a rally on July 9, 2019. Mr Rajbinder Singh Panag, Head, Department of Geography enlightened the cadets on the adverse of air pollution. He said how humanity is playing with nature to fulfill its needs. It was followed by the cadets taking out a rally to spread awareness regarding ill effects of air pollution. Chief Officer MS Chadha(Naval Wing), 2nd Officer Shahid Ahmed (Air wing) were present.
                      Mr Simon Lowe , former teacher who taught at PPS in 80s’ came back to address the students about Brexit. Presently working as Lawyer and delivering lectures at Paris University, Mr Simon dwelt at length about the impact of Brexit in time to come. Going nostalgic , he shared the fond memories spent at school. He was joined by his son Jack who is pursuing engineering at Trinity College, Dublin. He too shared the experience of colleges and universities overseas. Mr Simon’s daughter Madeleine wishes to pursue Masters in Human Rights and participated in the interaction making it more meaningful. The session concluded with Q & As. Head Boy and Head Girl presented a token of remembrance. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster thanked them for sparing time from their busy schedule and wished them all the best for their remaining visit.
